Algeria is interested in developing assembly plants of Belarusian equipment

“The heads of the diplomatic missions reviewed issues on the bilateral agenda, discussed the schedule of upcoming contacts between MINSK and Algeria, cooperation in the political, trade and economic spheres. The Ambassador of Belarus noted with satisfaction the growth in trade turnover, noted the interest of the Belarusian side in resuming the joint assembly of Belarusian cargo and agricultural equipment in Algeria ", the press service reported.

Dmitry Krutoy noted the existing potential for increasing the supply of Belarusian agricultural products to Algeria and invited the Algerian side to participate in the Belagro International Agricultural Exhibition in June this year. He expressed the opinion that the completion of the recognition of Belarusian veterinary certificates for MILK and dairy products will contribute to the growth of supplies to the Algerian market.

The Ambassador of Belarus also drew his interlocutor’s attention to the possibility of supplying Belarusian pharmaceutical products to Algeria. The Ambassador of Algeria, in turn, emphasized the importance of developing the full range of relations between his country and Belarus.

“He welcomed the idea of ​​developing joint assembly production of Belarusian equipment, noted the importance of the supply of agricultural products to ensure food security, and also expressed interest in learning about the experience of developing the pharmaceutical industry in Belarus,” the press service informed.

“Also, the heads of the diplomatic missions of Belarus and Algeria in Moscow touched upon the interaction of the two countries on international platforms and noted the similarity of positions on current issues on the world agenda,” the Belarusian embassy added.
