The foreman of the Ross Breeding Farm in Volkovysk District: We are all working for a big harvest.

September 20, Volkovysk. Viktor Pivovarchik, foreman of the production team at the Ross Breeding Farm, spoke to journalists about the importance of teamwork for achieving success , BelTA reports. For Viktor Pivovarchik, the regional "Dazhynki" meeting in Vawkavysk was a special event: for his outstanding work results, he received an award—a commendation from the Belarusian Minister of Agriculture and Food.

"There are many worthy people at our enterprise, and even more in the region, so I believe this award is for everyone. Success can only be achieved as a team, and this is precisely the example," the young agronomist said.
As Viktor Pivovarchik explained, the Ross Breeding Farm is a large enterprise consisting of three plots. The young foreman is responsible for one of them. "Everything that happens on the plot is decided at the morning meeting. Assigning people to different places is part of my job. And the final outcome largely depends on how you organize the process."
Over the years, you gain experience and learn more subtleties and nuances, the foreman shared. Tasks, he explained, are divided into priorities and secondary ones, which must be addressed, but not at the expense of more important work.
"And if you have more experience, you try to do things in a way that doesn't require redoing, and that minimizes costs and maximizes returns for the company. We have one large team, headed by the director , then deputies, the chief agronomist, and so on, and each has their own responsibilities. And we all strive to achieve results, to grow a bountiful harvest. For example, to grow more beets, to use them for feed, to ensure there's sufficient milk. And the more, the better."

As Viktor Pivovarchik emphasized, in a well-coordinated team, everyone tries to lend a hand and help each other. No one refuses a colleague's request or support. When the team is friendly, you come to work with great pleasure and strive to complete the assigned tasks as best you can, he noted. Photo by Leonid Shcheglov
