Incubator incubators from Memmert GmbH, Germany are ideal for medical, pharmaceutical and food research. Organic materials require extremely careful handling. Therefore, the heating and temperature control systems are optimized for low temperatures up to +80°C. To prevent overheating, the temperature in the incubator chamber increases smoothly and is kept at exactly the right value when the set parameters are reached.
 
Memmert incubators are available with natural convection (IN, INplus series) or forced convection (IF, IFplus series).
 
In order to choose the right incubator-thermostat model you have to follow a few simple steps:
 
Determine the type of ventilation ( IN - natural ventilation, IF - forced ventilation);
Choose the right model by volume (see table below);
Type of control panel: SingleDISPLAY - not marked , TwinDISPLAY - plus
Forced convection can disrupt the humidified air layer that protects the cell structures and leads to dehydration. In Memmert incubators, the combination of four-sided heating and temperature control ensures that the working processes are normally carried out without forced ventilation. If the working chamber is fully loaded and ventilation is still required, it can be set in 10% increments from 0 to 100%.
 
Memmert IN incubators (natural convection) are equipped with a SingleDISPLAY controller. Standard equipment includes:
 
1.4301 stainless steel (ASTM 304) cooking chamber, with deep-drawn ribs on all sides to integrate a large heating zone with a ceramic-metal casing;
double doors (glass inner door and fully insulated stainless steel outer door)
Temperature range 20-80°C, but not below ambient temperature plus 5°C;
Electronic PID process controller with self-diagnostic system for faster detection of malfunctions;
Touch panel for switching between ControlCOCKPIT settings
control of the air exchange rate by means of a servo-driven air damper with 0-100% opening regulation;
programmable timer from 1 min to 99;
Color TFT display for displaying set and actual temperature, degree of opening of air damper, process time and menu settings;
Mechanical temperature limiter (TV, class 1)
Optical alarm indicator;
platinum temperature sensor PT100;
Ethernet port on rear panel for logging of drying process;
Built-in logging system with memory for at least 10 years.
