
Mikhail Ratner, Deputy Governor of the Tomsk Region for Agro-Industrial Policy and Environmental Management, and specialists from the Department for Rural Social and Economic Development, conducted a working visit to the Bakcharsky District.
The purpose of the visit was to monitor the activities of agricultural enterprises and farms in the municipality. As part of the program, the specialists visited JSC Bakcharskoye, the Bakcharsky Farmer agricultural production cooperative, and several other farms.
Their first stop was Denis Churaev's farm. Churaev, a dairy farmer, began his business in 2014 after receiving a 1.3 million ruble grant. With government support, he built a cowshed, purchased 20 HEAD of dairy cattle , and milking equipment. Currently, the farm has 97 head of cattle, including 43 cows. In 2024 , the farm produced 230 tons of MILK.
Their next stop was JSC Bakcharskoye. The company specializes in producing purebred, high-quality planting stock for fruit, berry, and ornamental flowers.
Bakcharskoye JSC's specialists have developed 19 honeysuckle varieties, which are included in the State Register of Breeding Achievements of RUSSIA, and six blackcurrant varieties. The company annually sells over 235,000 seedlings not only in the Tomsk region but throughout Russia. The perennial plantings cover 84 hectares, from which 47 tons of berries were harvested this year .
At the company, specialists inspected the production facilities with refrigeration equipment, perennial plantings suitable for mechanical harvesting, and the nursery. They also discussed
development plans with Yulia Ivanova, the company's DIRECTOR. The company is working to develop a new variety with high yields and good transportability, suitable for mechanical harvesting. The company plans to expand the area under perennial plantings, including those suitable for mechanical harvesting. By 2026, they plan to establish their own berry processing line.
The working group then visited the Bakcharsky Farmer agricultural cooperative. The cooperative unites nine peasant farms and four private farms. In 2019, the agricultural cooperative members received a grant of 23.5 million rubles for the development of their material and technical base.
The cooperative's chairperson, Tatyana Nedrogailova, showed them the milk processing facility, which opened in 2020. The facility produces pasteurized and baked milk , sour cream, and cream.Cottage cheese and kefir , snezhok and ryazhenka, butter and yogurt. They plan to produce cheese, curd mass, and milkshakes. The cooperative has a modular slaughterhouse with all the necessary equipment.
At the end of the day, the working group visited the Chernyshevsky agro-industrial complex. The company is engaged in livestock farming. As of the current date, the herd size is 281 head of cattle. They prepare their own feed. The sown area is 4.25 thousand hectares, growing grain, legumes, and forage crops. As of the current date, 153 hectares have been threshed, 382 tons have been harvested, the average yield is 24.9 centners per hectare. By the winter stall period, 28 centners of forage units have been prepared per conventional head (118.6% of the plan). The company's machinery and tractor fleet consists of 16 tractors, four grain harvesters, and one forage harvester. The company plans to purchase additional agricultural machinery and equipment in 2025.
