Affirm shares soar 40% as quarterly loss falls

The driver was the report for the third financial quarter. According to its results, revenue increased by 54%, $354.8 million. At the same time, the company recorded a net loss of $54.7 million, while a year earlier it reported a net loss of $287.1 million. Loss per share was $0 .19 vs. analysts' forecast of $0.51, CNBC reports.

Affirm also improved its forecast for the full year and announced the renewal of its partnership with Shopify.

However, since the beginning of this year, the value of fintech securities has fallen by 77.33%, according to trading data at 17:20 Moscow time.
