Financial Performance Pork EXPORT
revenue also showed positive dynamics, increasing by 26.7%. Over the specified period, it amounted to US $2.039 billion , significantly exceeding the US$1.609 billion in 2024. These results indicate growing interest in Brazilian pork in international markets and the successful work of local producers.
July Shipments
In July 2025, pork exports amounted to 126.8 thousand tons, which is 8.3% lower than in July 2024, when 138.3 thousand tons were exported. However, despite the decrease in volumes, revenue that month increased by 2.2%, reaching US$316.1 million compared to US$309.4 million last year. This indicates that Brazilian producers were able to increase prices for their products, which, in turn, offset the decrease in supply volumes.
Export Geography
Diversification of export destinations has become a key factor in sustainable growth. In July 2025, Brazil successfully supplied pork to various countries, among which the following stand out:
- Philippines: 31.5 thousand tons (+15.8%)
- Chile: 14.5 thousand tons (+38.2%)
- China: 11.9 thousand tons (-39.4%)
- Japan: 9.2 thousand tons (-18.9%)
- Vietnam: 6.7 thousand tons (+20.5%)
- Singapore: 6.1 thousand tons (-45.7%)
- Mexico: 6.1 thousand tons (+8.8%)
- Hong Kong: 6.1 thousand tons (-42.6%)
- Uruguay: 5.3 thousand tons (+6.7%)
- Argentina: 3.2 thousand tons (+722.1%)
As can be seen, some destinations, such as the Philippines and Chile, showed significant growth, while shipments to CHINA and Singapore decreased. This demonstrates the need to adapt to the changing conditions in international markets.
Restructuring of Export Flows
ABPA President Ricardo Santina noted that a significant restructuring of export flows took place in 2025. Reduced dependence on one direction and a more even distribution of volumes among importing countries create a sustainable basis for further growth. This allows Brazil to maintain a stable level of supplies and finish the year with positive dynamics.
Export Leaders among States
Among the Brazilian states most active in pork exports, Santa Catarina led the way in July 2025, exporting 64.5 thousand tons (-14.5% compared to the previous year). It was followed by Rio Grande do Sul with 29.3 thousand tons (-3%), Paraná with 18.8 thousand tons (+1.9%), Minas Gerais with 3.4 thousand tons (+4.1%), and Mato Grosso with 2.8 thousand tons (-27.3%).
Thus, Brazil continues to strengthen its position in the international pork market, demonstrating both growth in export volumes and revenue. Market diversification and adaptation to changes in demand allow the country to confidently look to the future and maintain positive momentum in the industry.
