An auction for the sale of the Borovskoy poultry farm has been announced in Tyumen.


The starting price of the lot is 10.7 billion rubles, with an auction increment of 107.5 million rubles. The lot includes 3.4 billion shares of the company, equivalent to 99.91% of the authorized capital of JSC "Borovskaya Poultry Farm named after A.A. Sozonov."

"The area of ​​the plots on which the business entity's real estate is located is 32,600 hectares, and the business entity employs 975 people," the auction website states.

Applications for participation in the auction are now open and will run until October 6. Authorities clarified that the sale of the poultry farm is being carried out to generate additional revenue for the budget.

Three large poultry farms operate in the Tyumen Region: Pyshminskaya, Kaskarinskaya, and Borovskaya. The region is one of the major poultry farming centers in the Urals and Siberia. In 2023, it ranked first in the country for egg production, with an average of 344 eggs per hen

. At the end of 2024, the revenue of JSC Borovskaya Poultry Farm named after A. A. Sozonov amounted to 7 billion rubles (+22.6% compared to 2023), and net profit was 953 million rubles (-2.7% compared to 2023). According to the auditor's report, over 90% of the company's revenue was generated by sales of egg products.
