Belarus presented an exposition at the food industry exhibition in Tashkent

March 28, MINSK. Belarus presented a large-scale exposition with the participation of more than 20 food producers at the 22nd international exhibition "Food, Ingredients and Production Technologies - UzFood". This major exhibition event in the food industry is taking place on March 28-30 in Tashkent (Uzbekistan), BelTA learned from the Belinterexpo exhibition company of the BelCCI.

The exposition of Belarus - Belarus - The Taste of Nature - is distinguished by a variety of presented directions and food products. Concern "Belgospischeprom" presented products of confectionery factories. Such enterprises as "Kommunarka", "Spartak" and "Krasny Pischevik" acquaint the guests of the Belarusian pavilion with the best products and novelties of production. Visitors can get acquainted with new types of confectionery, chocolate and chocolates, waffles, cookies, chewing and jelly marmalade.

MEAT processing enterprises and manufacturers of dairy products, which are part of the Grodnomyasomolprom holding and the Brestmyasomolprom concern, are widely represented. Meat products from Brest, Pinsk, Slonim, Volkovysk, Grodno and Oshmyany meat processing plants are presented. Importers are offered high-quality beef in various designs, sausages, semi-finished meat products. The exhibition also features beef steaks from the Volkovysk Meat Processing Plant. Grodno Meat Processing Plant also demonstrates novelties of production. The Belarusian company brought to Uzbekistan raw-smoked sausages "Vostochnaya" and "Kavkazskaya", boiled-smoked salami "Favorit" with olives, as well as with cheese.

The dairy segment is represented by the Kobrin Butter and Cheese Plant, Minsk Margarine Plant, Luninets Dairy Plant, Lida MILK Canning Plant, Dairy World , Molochny Gostinets and Minsk Dairy Plant No. 1. Belarusian manufacturers demonstrate a wide range of whole milk products - milk , cream, kefir, cheeses, cottage cheese, creams, yoghurts, etc. At the exhibition, you can see both fat and oil products and rapeseed oil. Bakery products are presented by Beresteysky Pekar OJSC, and Bellakt brought products for baby food.

In addition, the products of such enterprises as OJSC "Malorita canning and vegetable drying plant" and OJSC "Lida food concentrates" are demonstrated.

On the opening day of the exhibition, an Uzbek-Belarusian business forum was held, in which more than 50 leaders and representatives of government agencies and business circles of the two countries took part. Cooperation in the field of agriculture and food was discussed, the food potential of Belarus was outlined, and the EXPORT potential of the Brest and Grodno regions was presented. At the end of the business forum, the business circles of the two countries continued B2B negotiations, they were held separately at the stands of Belarusian enterprises.

UzFood annually organizes a rich business program: a retail center (a specialized platform for meetings between food producers and buyers, retailers and distributors), seminars and master classes for participants.
