In the Omsk region, food production increased by more than 100%

MILK production increased by 18.3%, cheese - by 7.4%, butter - by 6%, beef - by 8.6%, pork - by 6.1%, mineral water - by 18.3%.

“Now the food and processing industry of the region fully meets the internal needs of residents in finished products. it solves the problem of providing the population of the region with products on the principle “from field to counter”, and also maintains the status of one of the largest exporters in the Siberian Federal District,” explained Nikolay Drofa, HEAD of the Ministry of Agriculture.

Now more than 2 billion rubles are going to be invested in the food and processing industry of the region. Among the projects:

construction of an oil extraction plant for the processing of oilseeds with a capacity of up to 38 thousand tons per year (LLC AgroTrade), reconstruction of a dairy plant for processing raw milk with a capacity of 600 tons per day (LLC Yastro-Pererabotka), construction of a production building for the production of sausages and semi-finished products 48 tons per day (OOO Siberian Kolbasy), construction of a complex for the production of seeds of oilseeds and grain crops with a one-time storage capacity of 50 thousand tons (OOO Osnova Holding).
