Rostov Oblast exported a new batch of pigs for slaughter to Georgia.

During shipment, a veterinary inspection was conducted, confirming that all exported animals were healthy and originated from disease-free zones. Pig exports to Georgia are regular, and according to the Georgian National Statistics Office, pork imports from RUSSIA in the first half of 2025 amounted to $7.8 million, a 33-fold increase compared to the previous year. Russia accounted for 99.8% of Georgia's live pig imports in 2024 .
