October 1, MINSK . The Kaliningrad Region is interested in exchanging land reclamation experience and purchasing Belarusian equipment. Kaliningrad Region Governor Alexei Besprozvannykh announced this at the 20th meeting of the Belarusian-Russian Council on Long-Term Cooperation between Regions, Ministries, and Government Agencies of Belarus and the Kaliningrad Region of RUSSIA. The meeting was held in the Council of Ministers with the participation of Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Shuleiko, BelTA reports.Alexey Besprozvannykh noted that the industrial complex in the Kaliningrad Region is one of the driving forces behind its development. In 2025, the region purchased tractors and other equipment. Cooperation in agriculture has been established. "We are following the plan we outlined with you. Breeding cattle are being supplied from the Kaliningrad Region . We are also exploring the possibility of purchasing livestock from Belarus," said Alexey Besprozvannykh.
He also noted investment cooperation. Machinery and equipment are being purchased to implement investment projects. During their visit to Belarus, the delegation was shown the land reclamation fleet, a key area for the region. "We are developing a program to modernize the land reclamation system and, based on your experience, we have invited our colleagues to participate in the project work. We are also ready to work with you on this project in the Kaliningrad Region," the governor added.
Alexey Besprozvannykh noted that, although delivery conditions have become more complex, suppliers are finding ways to resolve logistical issues. "It's crucial for us that our Belarusian colleagues offer a flexible discount system for shippers and consignees. This will allow for further growth in trade turnover," he said.

The governor also reported on the completion of construction of one of Russia's largest MILK processing plants by the Atlantis Group in Kaliningrad. This also presents opportunities for cooperation.
Other significant industrial facilities are also developing. For example, the Kaliningrad Region will be ready to offer lithium-ion batteries starting in 2026. The GS Group holding company, which produces electronics, is already collaborating with Integral, a major Belarusian manufacturer. "At INNOPROM, we discussed the need for further development," Alexey Besprozvannykh emphasized.
Furthermore, Avtotor Group is interested in collaborating with Belkommunmash, Gomselmash, and the Minsk Motor Plant to supply auto components. At the previous council meeting, the Belarusian Cement Company and the Kaliningrad-based company KTK Logistik LLC signed an agreement to supply 80,500 tons of cement to the Kaliningrad Region in 2025.
