The fraudster created a fake account in the Mercury system to register fictitious shipments of beef liver and fish. An audit confirmed that all transactions were fraudulent—the goods existed only in paper form. The fraudsters' accounts were blocked, and the materials were reported to the police. They now face criminal prosecution for document forgery and illegal trade.
