Livestock breeders in the Ryazan region have demonstrated continuous, sustainable growth for 11 years.
In the first 8 months of 2025, all categories of farms produced:
- MILK – 447 thousand tons, an increase of 2.6% compared to the same period in 2024
; - MEAT (live weight) – 94 thousand tons, +25.3%;
- eggs – 990 million pieces, +7.8%.
Over the previous 10 years, livestock production in the region has almost doubled: milk production in the region increased by 78%, meat – by 85%, and eggs – by 91%. In 2024, the region produced a record number of eggs, as well as the highest volumes of milk and meat in the last 30 years.
Large and medium-sized agricultural enterprises make the main contribution to the production of livestock products. In milk production, the main growth drivers are the new livestock complexes "Priokskoye Myaso" in the Spassky District and "Dmitrievo" in the Kasimovsky District. The increase in meat production was achieved thanks to the previously built pig farms "Verdazernoprodukt" in the Saraevsky District and "SPF Ryazan" in the Skopinsky District, as well as the launch of specialized enterprises "APK-Ryazan" in the Korablinsky and Ryazhsky Districts. Record egg production was driven by the development of the Okskoye company, which is among the top five Russian companies in its field.
