MINSK . Belarus has postponed the introduction of traceability and labeling of goods. This is stipulated by Council of Ministers Resolution No. 528 of September 25, 2025, the Ministry of Taxes and Duties told BelTA. According to the document, the list of goods whose circulation information is subject to traceability is being shortened.
Food products , footwear, and household chemicals
are no longer included . Furthermore, the introduction of traceability for household appliances has been postponed from October 1, 2025, to March 1, 2026. These products include washing machines, vacuum cleaners, robotic vacuum cleaners, electric irons, food processors, dishwashers, electric kettles, electric multicookers, microwave ovens, electric stoves (cooktops), electric drills, hair dryers, and televisions. The deadline for introducing identification markings on soft drinks and juices has also been postponed from October 1, 2025, to May 1, 2026. Labeling of these products with unified control marks is expected to continue from October 1, 2025, to April 30, 2026. Used mobile phones and laptops are excluded from the list of products subject to identification markings. "The adoption of this resolution will reduce the burden on business entities regarding the mandatory use of electronic invoices for product circulation, record-keeping for incoming documents, and the submission of information for inclusion in the Product Traceability System software package.

Resolution No. 528 shall enter into force upon its official publication, with the exception of provisions requiring the labeling of juices and soft drinks with unified control marks, which shall enter into force on October 1, 2025.
