Farmers at Rogoznyansky JSC in Zhabinka District increased their grain yields by more than a third.

September 25, MINSK . JSC Rogoznyansky in Zhabinka District increased its grain yield by more than a third. A cold spring and rainy summer didn't prevent the agricultural enterprise from reaching yet another high. As Anna Plytnik, DIRECTOR of the joint-stock company, told the magazine "Ekonomika Belarusi," this season they harvested more than 7,014 tons of grain (16% more than last year) with a record yield of 48.1 c/ha (37% higher than the 2024 target). 

They also harvested 888 tons of rapeseed with a yield of 32.3 c/ha, compared to the average for Zhabinka District of 25.8 c/ha. "Our work is specific and challenging; it requires dedication and a love for the business. It's encouraging that agriculture

has been rapidly developing and modernizing recently ," emphasized Chief Agronomist Sergei Sobolevsky.  Since the beginning of the year, the farm's gross MILK yield has reached 8,174 tons—4.7% higher than the same period in 2024 , with milk yield per cow reaching 5,439 kg (126 kg higher). Milk sales increased by 6%, with 97% of that being extra-grade milk. Rogoznyansky sends its milk for processing to Savushkin Product OJSC. And, according to Nadezhda Bogrova, HEAD of the Busni-1000 dairy farm, the farm supplies raw materials for products sold in EU countries . "We have achieved this high level of quality thanks to new technologies and a close-knit team," she noted. Rogoznyansky employs 178 people, 13.71% of whom are under 31 years of age.
