Deputy Governor of Tomsk Region for Agro-Industrial Policy and Nature Management Mikhail Ratner, together with representatives of the regional department for socio-economic development of the village, visited large farms in Tomsk District.
The working trip began with a visit to the Trubachevo greenhouse complex. The agro-complex was built using modern energy-saving technologies and equipped with modern equipment with an automatic plant nutrition and microclimate control system for growing vegetable light crops. Cucumbers, ornamental and coniferous plants, and garden strawberries are grown here in protected soil. The enterprise is building a logistics center where the products of the greenhouse complex will be stored, packaged, and sent for sale.
"This farm is an example of how competent management and modern technologies can achieve impressive results in agriculture. We discussed the development prospects of the enterprise, the introduction of new working methods, and issues related to support from regional authorities with the HEAD of the agro-complex, Galina Shanina," the vice-governor noted.
The next stop was OOO Sibirskoye Zerno, one of the leading crop-growing enterprises in the Tomsk region. This season, the enterprise increased its sown area by 2.7%, mainly due to oilseeds. The DIRECTOR of the enterprise, Sergei Ivanov, said that the harvest was completed by a third. OOO Sibirskoye Zerno is one of the few in the region that grows winter crops. 240 tons of winter wheat were threshed with an average yield of 20 c/ha. Barley andpeas , 640 tons and 560 tons were obtained, respectively. 50% of oats were harvested - 136 tons from 50 hectares.
Tomsk district is among the top three leaders in the region in terms of grain sown areas - this is almost 19.4 thousand hectares. In addition, it accounts for almost 23% of the total number of cattle in the region: more than 15 thousand heads. And the production of raw MILK increased by 0.27% compared to the previous year.
Thus, in Spas LLC, gross milk production in 2024 amounted to 4.2 thousand tons - 7% more than in 2023. More than 1.5 thousand heads of cattle are kept here, including more than 770 cows. In addition to dairy cattle, Spas LLC contains Galloway beef cattle - 291 animals , including 170 cows. Mikhail Ratner discussed the farm's production indicators and the progress of the forage harvesting campaign with the farm's management. For the winter stall period, 650 tons of hay, 12 thousand tons of haylage and grain haylage, as well as 532 tons of straw have been harvested in reserve. In general, forage harvesting in the Tomsk District has been completed by 100.2%, in the region - by 84.5%; grain harvesting in the district - 26.3%, in the region - by 49.3%.
