Prosecutor's Office, together with the Juvenile Affairs Commission of the Leninsky District Administration, conducted a raid on families at social risk, the Mogilev Region Prosecutor's Office information service told BELTA.
Since the beginning of the year, specialists have taken measures to protect the rights and legitimate interests of 12 minors from 6 families following such raids, at the initiative of the prosecutor's office: Seven children in the families were found to meet criteria and indicators of a socially dangerous situation, and five minors were removed from their families and placed in state care.
During the raid, families were examined that had previously been reported to be in an unfavorable situation. The living and upbringing conditions of children in families with criteria and indicators of a socially dangerous situation were also examined.
The reason for the visit to one large family was information that the mother was leading an immoral lifestyle. Neighbors explained that she was on maternity leave and had repeatedly been seen in a state of
ALCOHOL intoxication .
During the visit, the Mogilev resident was at home with her three small children and showed obvious signs of intoxication. She admitted to drinking alcohol the previous day. The apartment was unsanitary, the living space had not been
cleaned , the rooms were cluttered, and the furniture was broken.
As a result, the prosecutor issued an order to the education department of the Leninsky District Administration of Mogilev, requesting a social investigation.
The prosecutor's office has taken the family's situation under review.
