June 16, Mogilev. He was riding a jet ski, overturned and could not reach the shore. Tatyana Starosotnikova, official representative of the USC in the Mogilev region, spoke about the details of the death of a 37-year-old man at a pond in the Belynichi district, BelTA informs.

On the evening of June 15, a message was received about a man drowning in a lake in the village of Rafolovo. “It was previously established that in the afternoon a 37-year-old resident of Mogilev was running around a jet ski bought the day before. Making a U-turn, a man from a water transport fell into the water. He did not have enough strength to swim to the shore, he began to sink and call for help. One of the acquaintances who were on the shore rushed to save a drowning man, but did not have time to swim. The man went under water," she said.

The body of the Mogilev resident was removed from the water a few hours later by OSVOD employees. The drowned man was without personal protective equipment.

The investigative group conducted an inspection of the scene, interviewed eyewitnesses and relatives of the deceased. A forensic medical examination has been ordered.

On this fact, the Belynichi district department of the Investigative Committee is checking. All the circumstances of the incident are established.
