In the Amur Region, Rosselkhoznadzor prevented the import of about 30 batches of meat and eggs of unknown origin from China

In particular, over the past month, during the inspection of hand luggage of citizens entering from CHINA, seven shipments of pork MEAT and sausages, as well as poultry meat and chicken eggs transported in violation of the Common Veterinary and Sanitary Requirements of the Customs Union, were detained. All mentioned products were seized and destroyed.

For violation of the veterinary and sanitary requirements of the Customs Union, cargo owners were brought to administrative responsibility (part 1 of article 10.6 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation) with the imposition of fines.

Recall that products of animal origin can be imported into the Russian Federation only if they are in their original industrial packaging and accompanied by veterinary and accompanying documents characterizing the territorial, species origin and safety of the mentioned cargo, as well as confirming the epizootic well-being of the place of its exit.
