In the Irkutsk region, Rosselkhoznadzor analyzed more than 140 food samples.

Some MEAT samples were found to be contaminated with chicken DNA, while vegetable fats and oils were found in dairy products. Violations were detected in the following products: Selskaya Burenka cottage cheese, Chuisky cheese, Krestyanskoye butter, and ground chicken. The Department sent letters to manufacturers demanding they develop measures to prevent potential harm and notify consumers of the possible threat. Declarations for the affected products have been suspended until the violations are corrected. Information letters have been sent to the relevant departments for manufacturers in other regions.
