In RUSSIA, over the past day, 18,380 new cases of coronavirus infection have been detected, the total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic has exceeded 7.084 million, follows from the data of the operational headquarters for combating infection.

Of the regions, Moscow again leads, where 1801 cases of covid-19 were registered . Second place went to St. Petersburg (1380), the third - the Moscow region (525). On the eve of St. Petersburg ahead of the capital in the daily number of new patients with COVID-19.

During the day, 794 people died in the country, 19,639 recovered. According to the headquarters, the total number of deaths exceeded 190.3 thousand people, recovered - 6.3 million.

More than 1.5 million cases of COVID-19 have been detected in Moscow since the beginning of the pandemic. During the day, 52 people died in the city (more than 27.8 thousand in total), 1461 were cured (more than 1.4 million in total).
