FGBI "ARRIAH" organized a meeting with the heads and employees of the TU of the Rosselkhoznadzor, the Ministry of Agriculture, Veterinary Departments and Veterinary Laboratories

In January of this year, specialists of the Federal Center for Animal HEALTH, subordinate to the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR, took part in organizing and holding a videoconferencing meeting with heads and employees of the territorial departments of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Departments of Veterinary Medicine, directors and veterinarians of veterinary laboratories in the framework of maintaining veterinary safety and improving measures to prevent the spread and eradication of animal diseases, which are the main threats to the effective development of animal husbandry.

Leading experts of the FGBI "ARRIAH" presented a number of presentations on animal diseases, elimination and preventive measures in the event of diseases. Valery Mikhalishin, Professor, DOCTOR of Veterinary Sciences, Chief Expert of the Information and Analytical Center of the Veterinary Surveillance Department, made a report on the organization and implementation of anti-epizootic measures in the localization and elimination of foot-and-mouth disease. Viktor Nikiforov, Ph.D., HEAD of the Reference Laboratory for FMD Diagnostics at the FGBI ARRIAH, spoke about the rules for selecting and transporting pathological material in case of foot-and-mouth disease. Pavel Prutnikov, Leading Veterinarian of the Reference Laboratory for Bovine Diseases of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “ARRIAH”, presented information on modern approaches to the prevention of infectious nodular bovine dermatitis in the Russian Federation.

Scientific institutions provided information on the prevention of the introduction of especially dangerous animal diseases in the territories assigned by the interregional department of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance, briefed managers and veterinarians on the current epizootic situation in the regions, presented the main measures to prevent the occurrence of disease foci, answered questions of interest .
