Mari El exported $4.5 million worth of agricultural products in five months

In January-May, the EXPORT of products of the agro-industrial complex of Mari El amounted to 4.5 million dollars.

This is a third of the annual target. Almost 54 percent of exports were prepared foodstuffs. About nine percent - MEAT and MILK .

Agricultural products from the republic are purchased by 24 countries. The main partners are Uzbekistan, Belarus and Tajikistan, where half of the export products are sent, the RME Ministry of Agriculture reports.
