September 24, MINSK . A Minsk resident lost a large sum of money and a gold bar after an unsuccessful date, the Minsk Office of the State Forensic Examination Committee told BelTA.

After drinking with the man, his acquaintance, unable to resist temptation, stole a large sum of money and a gold bar from her home.

Upon discovering the loss, the man filed a report with the Moskovsky District Department of Internal Affairs in Minsk. During the investigation, the victim told law enforcement that his last guest had been a stranger who likely intended to enrich herself at his expense.

After examining the scene, a specialist from the Moskovsky District Department of the State Forensic Examination Committee found and removed fingerprints from the glass. Upon examination, the fingerprints matched those of a 34-year-old foreign citizen.

The woman was unable to explain her reasons for her actions, but expressed sincere remorse. The property was returned to the victim. A criminal case has been opened.
