"Despite the fact that INNOPROM is an industrial exhibition, the Belarusian side will organize a fair-festival, in which three enterprises specializing in food production will take part. Thus, the Domochay company will present confectionery products (gingerbread, cookies, puff, FLOUR products) , Minsk Dairy Plant No. 1 - dairy products, elite cheeses , and JSC "Grodno MEAT Processing Plant" - a wide range of meat delicacies. The assortment will include smoked and dry-cured sausages , as well as a children's line of meat products. In addition, at the exhibition, these enterprises will organize a tasting of the presented products," the Ministry of Agriculture and Food said.At the end of 2022, the trade turnover of food products and agricultural raw materials between Belarus and the Sverdlovsk region of the Russian Federation amounted to $90.7 million (a growth rate of 170% compared to 2021). Including EXPORT - $84.6 million (growth rate 172.7%), import - $6.1 million (growth rate 140.5%).
The main export positions are MILK and dairy products (69.7% in the export structure), including cheese and cottage cheese, butter , yogurt , kefir . In addition, fish and fish products, malt, vegetable and gourd crops and SUGAR were supplied .
"In 2022, the supply of chocolate, flour confectionery, meat products increased several times. The range of Belarusian products supplied was expanded. For example, about 50 types of goods were supplied for the first time. Among other things, supplies of products manufactured by CJSC Belarusian National Biotechnology Corporation began to the market of the Sverdlovsk Region" products used to feed animals," the ministry said.
13 Belarusian Products stores have been opened in Yekaterinburg, including four in 2022. Belarusian food products are also sold in the Magnit and Pyaterochka retail chains.
The main import positions in 2022 were fish and fish products, live poultry, products for the preparation of sauces and ready-made sauces, pasta, vegetable oil.
"In January-April 2023, the trade turnover of food products and agricultural raw materials between Belarus and the Sverdlovsk region amounted to $28.2 million (a growth rate of 145.5% compared to January-April 2022), including exports of $25.1 million (a growth of 141%), imports - $3.1 million (growth rate of 198.1%)," the ministry stressed.
This year, the main export positions are milk and dairy products, including cheeses and cottage cheese, butter, yogurt, kefir. In addition, canned fish, malt, fruits , vegetables and their products, chocolate, meat products and sugar were exported. CJSC "Belarusian National Biotechnological Corporation" supplied amino acids to the Russian region. The main import positions in 2023 are fish and fish products, vegetable oil, products for the preparation of sauces and ready-made sauces, breeding chickens.
"In January-April 2023, compared to the same period in 2022, the range of delivered Belarusian products was expanded, including 26 types delivered for the first time," the Ministry of Agriculture and Food assured.
In 2023, own-made products were supplied to the Sverdlovsk Region by AFPK Zhlobinsky Meat Processing Plant OJSC, Volkovysk Meat Processing Plant OJSC, Savushkin Product OJSC, Molochny Mir OJSC, Postavy Dairy Plant OJSC, Turov Dairy Plant OJSC, CJSC "Belarusian National Biotechnological Corporation", JSC "Mozhelit".
According to the department, in June of this year, a delegation from the Sverdlovsk Region headed by the Minister of Agro-Industrial Complex and Consumer Market of the Sverdlovsk Region of the Russian Federation, Anna Kuznetsova, visited the country. The delegation visited the Belagro-2023 International Agricultural Exhibition.
As a result of the visit, a Plan (Roadmap) of cooperation in the field of agriculture between Belarus and the Sverdlovsk region of the Russian Federation for 2023-2025 was signed, within the framework of which it is supposed to increase the mutual trade turnover of food products and agricultural raw materials, expand the range of product supplies; work out the possibility of the participation of the Belarusian side in the design of modern livestock complexes in the Sverdlovsk region and their acquisition of the necessary milking, refrigeration and other equipment; work out the possibility of supplying veterinary preparations of Belarusian manufacturers to the Sverdlovsk region, as well as seeds of agricultural plants of Belarusian selection, included in the State Register of Selection Achievements of the Russian Federation; to continue cooperation on the exchange of experience in the field of greenhouse vegetable growing.
