The Russian meat industry continues to grow: poultry farms increased meat production by 3.4%.

In total, agricultural enterprises produced 3.258 million tons of MEAT in slaughter weight, an increase of 1.1% compared to 2024. Poultry meat accounted for more than half (51%) of total meat production, while pork accounted for 43% and beef only 6.5%. Despite lower pork production, some regions, such as the Pskov and Oryol regions, reported significant growth in this segment. Meat exports also increased by 44% in the first quarter of 2025, with poultry remaining the leading EXPORT, amounting to 110 thousand tons.
