Traffic police in the Vitebsk region detained 14 unlicensed drivers over the weekend.

December 22, Minsk . Fourteen unlicensed drivers were detained in the Vitebsk Region over the weekend, BelTA learned from the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. 

Over the past weekend, 40 accidents involving material damage were recorded on the roads of the Vitebsk Region, 19 of which were in the regional capital.

Traffic police detained six drunk drivers and 14 unlicensed drivers. More than 250 pedestrians were cited for traffic violations. Of these, 18 were intoxicated.alcohol intoxication , 119 - without reflective elements.
