Samsung has filed for new trademark registrations in Russia.

South Korean electronics manufacturer Samsung has filed an application to register new trademarks in Russia, TASS reports .

Samsung has two trademarks—Neo QLED and MovingStyle—for televisions and monitors. The first application was filed in August 2024, the second in April of this year.

In December, the corporation filed two more trademark applications (displays, digital signage, monitors, systems on a chip, and integrated circuits) - Samsung Spatial Signage and Samsung ENSS.

In March 2022, Samsung suspended shipments of its products to Russia, citing "geopolitical events." This affected the availability of equipment and the operation of the company's Kaluga plant, which was supplied through a parallel import scheme. In March of this year, the Korea Times reported that Hyundai, LG, and Samsung had begun discussing a return to Russia.
