Farming Development in Krasnodar Krai: New Achievements and Government Support

To enhance the competitiveness of local farmers, assistance is provided in establishing cooperatives, as well as state support through grants, subsidies , and preferential loans. More than 150 agricultural cooperatives with over 2,000 members are registered in the region, and they have doubled their production volumes to approximately 2 billion rubles over the past three years.

Farmers manage one-third of the region's cropland, raising over 187,000 head of cattle , including 77,000 cows. They also keep approximately 39,300 pigs, 213,000 sheep and goats, and 9.3 million poultry. In 2025 , federal and regional budgets allocated approximately 170 million rubles in grants for the development of both start-up and existing cooperatives and family farms.
