In Bobruisk, a drunk driver without a license borrowed a friend's car for a ride.

January 4, Minsk . A drunk driver without a license was detained in Babruisk, BelTA learned from the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee Department of Internal Affairs.
In Babruisk, traffic police officers stopped a Dodge driven by a 31-year-old resident of the district who was intoxicated . A medical examination revealed a blood alcohol level of 1.23 ppm.
The man had never been licensed to drive. The offender will now face a fine of 200 basic units and will be barred from obtaining a driver's license for the next five years.
The 46-year-old owner of the vehicle will also face legal action for handing over the vehicle to a person in a state of intoxication.If he is found intoxicated , he will be banned from driving for the next three years and will be fined 60 base units.
The State Traffic Inspectorate once again reminds people of the unacceptability of driving under the influence of alcohol and encourages them to report such incidents by calling 102.
