The Khotyslavsky SUP , which celebrated its 75th anniversary this year, is known primarily for its livestock products. They boast excellent milk yields, and their bulls consistently show strong growth. Digitalization is being actively implemented in all areas of production. What challenges does this approach effectively address, and by what metrics does the company confidently maintain its position as one of the leading companies in Belarus?
Harvests Despite Inclement Weather
The Khotyslavsky SUP is located in the Malorita District, 65 kilometers from Brest and ten kilometers from Malorita. The company is part of the Brest Meat-Processing Plant OJSC. "
Our strategic goal is the long-term development of the farm, its technical re-equipment, and an increase in milk production as the most profitable product," explains Director Alexander Denisovich.
According to the director, the farm focuses primarily on dairy and meat production, and its farming is based on the cultivation of high-yielding crops and the use of energy-saving technologies. The Khotyslavskyi SUP prioritizes a grain-row cropping system that ensures the efficient production of grain and legume crops, as well as corn and rapeseed, which are primarily used for livestock feed.
"Judging by the 2025 harvest figures , our yield increased by an average of 8.5 centners per hectare. Therefore, despite the climatic surprises this spring , we haven't lost any ground," emphasizes the director of the Khotyslavskyi SUP.
A solid foundation for next year has also been laid.
"We completed all autumn fieldwork processes on schedule. We have sown 1,618 hectares of winter crops: rye, triticale, and barley. Our machinery and tractor fleet has been 80% renewed and is fully staffed with machine operators. We are constantly on the move, and according to our estimates, next year we will have an even greater harvest than in 2025," notes Alexander Denisovich.
Milk accounts for three-quarters of the company's revenue
. Today, the farm operates five dairy farms. The dairy herd numbers 2,632 head, and the total cattle population , including young cattle and fattening bulls, is approximately 9,500.
On September 30, 2025, after reconstruction, the modern Khotyslav dairy farm, with a capacity of 1,200 head of dairy cattle, opened here. With the assistance of Brest Meat-Processing Plant OJSC, modern barns, a high-performance milking unit, and new haylage and silage trenches were built.
"Thanks to the Khotyslav dairy farm, we were able to completely move away from tethered housing," says Alexander Denisovich. "The farm's commissioning significantly reduced labor costs, improved working conditions , and increased milk yield by three kilograms even in the initial stage."
To develop livestock farming, the farm is also creating a stable feed base, optimizing feed production, and improving the breeding quality of its animals.
"Our farm is engaged in raising and fattening cattle ," emphasizes the director. "For this, we use three farms with approximately four thousand animals. This allows us to sell approximately 250 commercial bulls at 15 months of age, weighing an average of 550 kilograms, to the meat processing plant
each month. In 2025, the average daily weight gain of the bulls reached 918 grams. Compared to 2024, it increased by 44 grams. This year, in the national ranking for January-October, SUP "Khotislavsky" holds a solid 13th place for average daily weight gain.
Digital at Work
SUP "Khotislavsky" makes extensive use of digital technologies. Thus, in 2023, a new automated system was implemented in collaboration with specialists from Brest Meat-Processing Plant OJSC. This specialized program enables daily monitoring and recording of the volume and quality of work performed, storing all data on fields and tracts.
"We see which crops yielded the best yields in which weather and climate conditions," explains the director. "The system allows us to both plan sowing and forecast its results."
According to the interviewee, the work of the foremen in crop production has significantly improved since the implementation of the program. Each of them now has a tablet with all the data on their desk. Specialists can remotely monitor production processes. They can immediately see how plans are being fulfilled and what the machine operators are working on.
"Work has become easier, more interesting, and most importantly, productivity has increased," notes Alexander Denisovich.
Milk production and bull-feeding processes have also been automated. The new technology for recording and monitoring livestock operations makes it possible to determine the condition of each animal from the moment of birth and develop a plan for preventive measures. The livestock and veterinary services work together and have access to all cattle data. All veterinary and preventative measures are immediately entered into the database, and the specialist receives a process chart the next morning. For example, he sees that 30 head of cattle need to be vaccinated today.
"Every year, we increase both the productivity of our animals and the gross production of the farm's livestock sector by 5-10%," notes Alexander Denisovich. "The digitalization of processes plays a significant role in this.
A shared credit. "
"Our farm has a conscientious, close-knit, and hardworking team. We have competent specialists who are reliable and easy to work with. They are fully committed to their tasks and achieve outstanding results," emphasizes Alexander Denisovich.
In turn, management guarantees incentive payments, ensures safe working conditions for employees, and improves their living conditions.
"Students studying under a targeted contract with our farm receive a monthly stipend supplement of five basic units," notes Lyudmila Skopina, Leading HR Specialist at SUP Khotislavsky. "Next year, we are looking for a young veterinarian, veterinary assistant, and mechanical technician. We often visit educational institutions, tell them about our farm, and invite them to come and see how we work. Our founder, OJSC Brest Meat-Processing Plant, also provides assistance in finding specialists."
For the past two years, the Khotislavsky Agricultural Enterprise has been hosting two student groups for the summer.
"We visit schools in the district to promote farming. We conduct tours of the workshops, machinery and tractor fleet, and farms," says Lyudmila Skopina. "Our team consists of approximately 90 people under 31 years of age. On December 5, our young workers took first place in the national "SuperPROFI-2025" competition.
By the end of 2025, the farm plans to reach 9,350 kg of milk per cow. This represents an increase of 444 kg compared to last year.

The gross grain harvest in 2025 was 7,076 tonnes—an increase of almost 12% compared to last year—and the average yield reached 28.2 centners per hectare. Corn harvested for grain this year totaled 2,434 tonnes (an increase of 61%), or 67 centners per hectare.

As of December 1, SUP Khotyslavsky employed approximately 470 people. The average monthly accrued salary is 2,212 rubles. This year, it has increased by 380 rubles, or 21%.
