Interactive overview of Russian cattle imports in 2021 from Meatinfo.ru

The import of cattle has been the largest and main share in the structure of imports of live animals to RUSSIA over the past three years. In 2019, the share of cattle in the structure of live animal imports was 94%, in 2020 - 89%, and in 2021 - 91%.

At the same time, the volume of animal imports has been decreasing throughout the entire period. In 2019, about 49.8 million tons of cattle were imported, in 2020 - 29.2 million tons, and in 2021 this figure was about 26.4 million tons, which is almost 2 times lower than in 2019.
