The Cherkizovo Group aims to increase poultry meat production in Bashkiria to 125 thousand tons by 2026

In 2022, Cherkizovo acquired five poultry farms in Bashkiria, which have an annual production capacity of 65 thousand tons of broiler MEAT in live weight and 25 thousand tons of deep processing products. The company also owns a feed mill with a capacity of 240 thousand tons per year and an extensive land bank with an area of ​​18 thousand hectares.

The investment of 3 billion rubles in the reconstruction of poultry farms and a processing plant in Bashkiria demonstrates the serious intentions of the Cherkizovo group to develop its production. it is expected that by 2024 the total production of poultry meat will reach 97 thousand tons.

Recently, the company also began producing halal chicken products at the Turbaslinsky Broilers enterprise. This is a strategic move that will allow Cherkizovo to expand its customer base and meet the needs of various religious and cultural groups.

The Cherkizovo Group has an impressive portfolio of assets, including 16 poultry complexes, 20 pig farms, 14 meat processing plants, 12 feed mills and 340 thousand hectares of agricultural land. This allows the company to control the production process from start to finish, ensuring the high quality of its products.

In the first half of this year, Cherkizovo increased sales of chicken meat by 24% compared to the same period last year, selling 438.12 thousand tons. However, turkey sales decreased by 27.3%, amounting to 27.64 thousand tons. The company is also active in pig farming and meat processing, expanding its activities into different market segments.

Cherkizovo's plans to increase poultry meat production in Bashkiria to 125 thousand tons by 2026 are an important step in the company's development. This will satisfy the growing demand for poultry products and strengthen Cherkizovo’s position as one of the industry leaders in RUSSIA.
