Meat production in Kabardino-Balkaria increased by 9% in 2025.

The Prokhladnensky District led in production volume, producing 12,800 tons of MEAT, or 21% of the republic's total.

Production growth was highest in the Baksan District, where volumes exceeded last year's by 25%.

RBC Caucasus previously reported that Kabardino-Balkaria produced 58,900 tons of livestock and poultry for slaughter (live weight) in the first half of 2025, a 9.5% increase compared to January-June 2024 .
