In Kabardino-Balkaria, green peas have been sown on 50% of the planned area

The sowing campaign continues in Kabardino-Balkaria. Vegetable crops are being actively planted, including vegetable or green peas.
To date, the crop has been sown on an area of ​​2.7 thousand hectares. According to the latest data from municipalities, this year it is planned to sow vegetable peas on an area of ​​more than 5,000 hectares, which is approximately the same as last year.
As a rule, the main part of the green peas is cultivated by canneries of the republic, which process their own crop. Last year, 57.5 million cans of canned green peas were produced.
Currently, canning factories are preparing the material and technical base for the upcoming season of processing agricultural raw materials.
