To date, 940 hectares of potato crops have been harvested, accounting for nearly 68.4% of the total area. Cabbage harvesting
has been completed on 60.4 hectares (36.2% of the plan), carrots on 47.9 hectares (40.9% of the plan), and beets on 76.8 hectares (56.9% of the plan). Grain and legume harvesting is nearing completion, having been completed on 129,200 hectares (89.4% of the plan) with an average yield of 27.5 centners per hectare. Vegetable storage facilities at the Ovoshchnoye Izobilie and Zarechnoye enterprises, and the Zorkaltsevskaya agrofirm, visited by specialists, are filled to the brim with root vegetables.
Over the past few years, thanks to the regional program to support vegetable and potato producers, farms in the region have improved the quality of harvest storage , commissioning storage facilities with a capacity of over 37,000 tons.
At Ovoshchnoye Izobilie LLC, the area to be harvested is 65 hectares. In the processing facility, vegetables are cleaned and packaged in vacuum bags for sale to the public through retail chains. At Agrofirma Zorkaltsevskaya LLC, potatoes are harvested from an area of 240 hectares. The average yield as of the current date is 250 centners per hectare. At the same time, potatoes are sorted in the storage facility, stored for seed, and winter storage. At Zarechnoye LLC, in addition to harvesting vegetables, cucumbers and flowers are grown in greenhouses for the public. The company is also implementing an investment project to build a dairy farm for 670 HEAD of cattle.
