harvest in the region is almost complete. Less than 10% of the area allocated to this crop remains to be threshed. 143,900 tons of rapeseed have already been harvested, with a record yield for the Lipetsk Region of 26.6 centners per hectare. In the Dobrovsky and Stanovlyansky districts and the Khlevensky district, farmers are harvesting 30 centners or more per hectare. The total area under rapeseed this year is approximately 60,000 hectares.
Soybeans have been threshed, with a yield of 25 centners per hectare, almost 30% higher than last year. The Dobrinsky and Lev-Tolstovsky districts are the leaders in yield. There, they harvest more than 27 centners per hectare. This year, soybeans are planted on 183,000 hectares.
Sunflower harvesting is already underway in all municipalities, with 183,400 tons harvested. The yield of this oilseed crop is slightly lower than last year. The total area under sunflower cultivation this year was approximately 190,000 hectares.
Last year, the region harvested 877,000 tons of oilseeds from 416,000 hectares.
