FGBI ARRIAH specialists took part in a meeting on import substitution in the Udmurt Republic

Employees of the FSBI "Federal Center for Animal Health" subordinate to the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR and the FSBI "Central Scientific and Methodological Veterinary Laboratory" held a meeting at the site of the agricultural holding "Komos Group" in the Udmurt Republic on the topic "Substitution of vaccines of imported origin with immunological preparations of domestic production for the prevention of animal diseases and birds. Development and adjustment of schemes for specific preventive vaccinations using domestic analogues produced by the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Federal Center for Animal Health". Komos Group is one of the largest agricultural holdings in RUSSIA with a full production and marketing cycle.

The meeting is connected with the difficult world situation, due to the possible threat of sanctions on the supply of immunobiological preparations, raw materials, consumables to the Russian Federation and a significant increase in the cost of vaccines of foreign origin.

During the meeting, employees presented reports on the arsenal of immunobiological preparations produced at the FGBI "ARRIAH" against diseases of birds, cattle and pigs, spoke about the advantages of domestic vaccines over foreign ones. During the discussion, practical issues were discussed on the specifics of the use of drugs, the assessment of the intensity and uniformity of immunity, the possibility of improving vaccines for specific enterprises.
