For violating the lockdown, Latvians will face a fine of up to €2,000.

For non-compliance with the lockdown restrictions in Latvia, an individual may be subject to an administrative fine of €10–2,000, and a legal entity – €140–5,000, according to the Jauns.lv news portal. The rules will be valid from October 21 to November 15.

From October 21 to November 15, a lockdown has been declared in Latvia. Residents of the country must comply with the following restrictions:
