In Russia, the fifth day in a row revealed a record number of infected COVID-19

In RUSSIA, 34,325 new CORONAVIRUS cases were detected per day, according to the data of the operational headquarters. This is the maximum since the beginning of the pandemic.

The daily gain breaks the record for the fifth day in a row. On October 14, the figure exceeded 31 thousand people, in the following days it increased by about 1 thousand. The day before, on October 17, 34,303 infected people were detected in the country.

Over the past day, the most infected people were registered in Moscow - 6823 people. For the capital, this is the maximum since the beginning of July.

It is followed by St. Petersburg with 3097 new cases of covid-19 . In third place is the Moscow region, where 2,768 infected people were identified. For the region, this is a record since the beginning of the pandemic.
