In the Novosibirsk region, the growth rate of the incidence of COVID-19 has decreased

The increase in the incidence of CORONAVIRUS in Novosibirsk and the Novosibirsk region decreased last week, said the HEAD of the territorial department of Rospotrebnadzor Alexander Shcherbatov at an operational meeting in the regional government.

“For the eighth week, we have noted an increase in the number of cases of coronavirus infection, over the past week - 2,806 cases, which is almost 5% more than the previous week,” Interfax quoted Shcherbatov as saying.

According to him, the number of tests for coronavirus has increased sharply in the region. Over the past week, their number amounted to more than 68 thousand, which is almost 1.5 times more than a week earlier.

According to the Minister of HEALTH of the region Konstantin Khalzov, 76.7 thousand cases of coronavirus have been recorded in the Novosibirsk region since the beginning of the pandemic, over the past day - 402. In general, 118 people were hospitalized in the region, a total of 4.7 thousand beds were deployed.

The vaccination course was completed by 863.1 thousand people, the stock of vaccines is 137.5 thousand doses, Khalzov added.
