Kazakhstan is interested in studying Belarus's experience in electronic exchange trading and is considering the possibility of implementing Belarusian technological solutions in creating its own digital infrastructure. This was stated by Ansar Orazaliyev, Acting DIRECTOR of the Department of Electronic and Exchange Trading of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, during a visit to the central office of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE).

"Today, we are faced with the task of creating a so-called unified national system for monitoring exchange activity, integrated with key statistical and customs databases, and we view Belarus's experience as one of the most successful examples of digitalization of trade infrastructure in the region as a whole. Therefore, we are particularly interested in the architectural solutions of your it platform and the logic of module interactions, including how the integration with state information systems is organized. We are also interested in an in-depth study of the technical solutions of your trading system and the adaptation of best practices to Kazakhstan's realities. We, for our part, could offer our analytical and regulatory developments in the field of exchange trading regulation, as well as the results of an analysis of the effectiveness of new legislative measures being adopted in our country. We are confident that close cooperation between Kazakhstan and Belarus in the field of digitalization of exchange trading will become a shining example of practical integration, increase market transparency and participant confidence, and lay the foundation for the formation of a unified digital trading space within the Eurasian Economic Union," emphasized Ansar Orazaliyev.

In this regard, Yaroslav Kovalchuk, HEAD of the Foreign Economic Activity Department at BUCE, confirmed their readiness to develop mutually beneficial strategic cooperation with the Kazakh side in terms of exchanging experience and technology transfer, and also shared up-to-date information on the volume and structure of exchange trade between the two countries in 2025.

"Kazakhstan is currently represented on our electronic platform by 186 companies, most of which actively use the exchange's capabilities. Thus, over the first nine months of this year, Kazakh participants concluded transactions worth almost $31 million, which is 22% more than in the same period last year. These were mainly purchases of Belarusian goods, namely powdered MILK, butter, MEAT products, SUGAR, and lumber. At the same time, imports"Kazakhstan accounted for less than 1% of the total exchange transaction volume. The exchange was used to sell, in particular, Kazakh ferrous metal products, industrial equipment, and cotton yarn," said Yaroslav Kovalchuk.
