July 12, MINSK . The Xinjiang Asian-European International Trade Center will help increase exports to CHINA through the BUSE, BelTA learned from the exchange's press service.
The Xinjiang Asia-Europe International Trading Center (AEEX), which operates the Asia Europe Exchange electronic trading platform, will assist the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange in increasing the supply of Belarusian goods to China. At the same time, we are talking not only about information support and assistance in organizing business events in China, but also about directly attracting Chinese importers to exchange trading."Currently, China's economy actively recovering from the pandemic. In this regard, the demand for raw materials, materials and finished products is growing, and the high level of development of e-commerce in the country provides favorable conditions for the use of exchange instruments. Therefore, it is very important right now to consolidate efforts and offer Chinese companies a comprehensive solution for working with Belarus, which includes an electronic platform for making deals, as well as information, logistics and financial services. As part of this project, we are ready to involve our partners from the banking sector and one of the largest transport and logistics companies in China - Sinotrans. The main thing is to move from the planning stage to the practical implementation of the agreements as soon as possible,"
In addition, according to Ms. Zhang, the organization of exchange deliveries of Belarusian products to the Celestial Empire will not require significant marketing costs, since the Chinese consumer is already familiar with the “Made in Belarus” brand, and all key EXPORT items presented at BUCE are in demand in the Chinese market.
"Lumber, MILK powder , rapeseed oil , MEAT products - all these goods are imported to China from all over the world, including from Belarus. Moreover, in recent years, Belarusian products have become recognizable in China, which, in my opinion, greatly simplifies the task to attract Chinese buyers to the exchange. I propose to focus on the regions through which the New Silk Road passes. First of all, these are Shanghai, Taicang and Xinjiang. We have offices in each of them, so we can most effectively establish interaction with representatives of Chinese business interested in working through the exchange," the chairman of the board of directors of AEEX is sure.
As of July 1, 127 Chinese residents were accredited to BUCE, including one with the status of a stock broker. According to the results of the first half of the year, the amount of transactions of Chinese participants increased by 29% to $26 million.
