Temporary restrictions have been introduced on the supply of poultry products to Russia from a number of municipalities in France and Germany

According to the French veterinary service and the International Epizootic Bureau, foci of highly pathogenic avian influenza have been registered in these municipalities. 

The French Veterinary Service previously sent information about the measures taken to eliminate the spread of the disease. Information from the competent authority of Germany to the service has not yet been received.

At the same time, the Russian department requested cartographic information about the territories that were included in the surveillance and protection zone, the location of poultry farms; results of the avian influenza surveillance and monitoring program; results of epizootological examination at infected enterprises.
