Agrarians of the Krasnoyarsk Territory completed the plan for forage harvesting by a quarter

Farmers in the Krasnoyarsk Territory continue to harvest fodder. 7.6 centners of feed units are stocked for a conditional HEAD - 25% of the plan. In particular, the villagers prepared more than 57 thousand tons of hay (26% of the plan) and 303 thousand tons of haylage (35.4% of the plan), the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture reported.

The largest amount of feed in terms of a conditional head was prepared in Dzerzhinsky (50.5%), Bolshemurtinsky (64%) and Sharypovsky (57.7%) districts.

According to the Deputy Chairman of the Krai Government - Minister of Agriculture and Trade Leonid Shorokhov, in most crop-growing areas, frequent rains hinder forage harvesting. In the southern regions of the region, the dry June weather also affected the pace of field work: “However, there are no risks in providing animals with balanced feed, all resources have been mobilized. Ahead of the farmers is harvesting silage. In addition, a significant amount of carry-over residues of the last year has been formed in the region - 5.5 centners of feed units per conditional head. The needs of animal husbandry will be fully satisfied.”

The readiness of agricultural machinery for forage harvesting is at the level of last year. In particular, tractors and balers are 94% ready, trucks - 92%, tractor rakes - 96%, forage harvesters - 83%. Compared to last year, more diesel fuel was imported for field work - 42 thousand tons.

In addition to fodder harvesting, agricultural producers continue to treat crops from diseases and pests. The work was carried out on 1.1 thousand hectares.

We add that by the winter-stall period, the villagers plan to stock up 222.5 thousand tons of hay, more than 855 thousand tons of haylage and 392 thousand tons of silage, which is 30 centners of feed units per conventional head of livestock.
