On July 6, on the basis of TnV "Success" of the Unechsky district, a regional seminar-conference was held on the issue of keeping cattle in the summer-pasture period.
it was attended by Deputy DIRECTOR of the Department of Agriculture Vadim Goryainov, representatives of the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Veterinary Medicine of the Bryansk Region, scientists from the Bryansk Agrarian University, heads of agricultural enterprises in the region, livestock specialists from district agricultural departments and veterinary specialists from regional veterinary stations, representatives of companies producing and selling feed and fodder additives.
TnV "Success" is a dynamically developing farm, over the past 5 years, MILK production has increased by 500 tons, animal productivity by 857 kg. Since 2004, the farm has been a breeding reproducer for breeding black-motley breed and has been improving the genetic potential of livestock. As of July 1, the farm contains 988 heads of cattle, of which 420 are cows. Every year, the breeding reproducer sells 50 heads of breeding young animals. In 2021, the farm produced 2.6 thousand tons of milk, the productivity of cows was 6136 kg, which made it possible to include the enterprise in the top 20 farms in the Bryansk region in terms of herd productivity. In 2021, the profit of the enterprise amounted to more than 40.0 million rubles, in the livestock industry 17.1 million rubles. The livestock industry employs 50 people, the average salary is 39.2 thousand rubles.
Nikolay Usyakov, the deputy authorized representative of TnV “Success”, told the participants of the seminar-conference about the work of the farm, the successes achieved, demonstrated the premises of the calf house and the maintenance of livestock in the summer camp. He noted that the basis of animal husbandry, along with the use of full-fledged feeding, is the correct technology for raising young animals and reproducing the herd. The farm cooperates with leading Russian enterprises to improve the genetic potential and feed livestock.
Professor, DOCTOR of Agricultural Sciences FSBEI HE "Bryansk State Agrarian University" Leonid Gamko told the seminar participants about the rules for keeping and feeding livestock during the summer-pasture period. Sergey Miroshnikov, director of Prime-M LLC, provided the participants of the seminar with a wide range of feed vitamin and mineral supplements to balance diets depending on age and sex groups. He also noted that these practical seminars allow colleagues to learn from the experience of advanced farms. The company has been cooperating with TnV "Success" for 7 years and the participants of the seminar were able to verify the successful result of their joint activities by evaluating the exterior of cows and young animals, which fully meets the requirements of the breeding farm.
In the second, practical part of the seminar, the work of the modern Unigrin-125 mobile disinfectant unit, designed for insecticide and acaricidal treatment of animals, was demonstrated, which this year was received by the district veterinary station. Viktor Korneikov, HEAD of the State Budgetary Institution "Unechskaya Raivetstation", informed those present about the medicines used for the prevention and treatment of invasive, blood-parasitic animal diseases, and demonstrated the availability of disinfectants for disinfection of veterinary supervision objects.
With great interest, the participants of the seminar listened to the information of the head of the State Budgetary Institution of the Bryansk region "Unech Zonal Veterinary Laboratory" Vladimir Brazovsky about modern methods for diagnosing blood parasitic diseases in animals. Those who wish were able to study blood preparations on the provided laboratory microscope.
The seminar-conference was held at a high professional level. The speakers gave detailed answers to many questions of the participants of the seminar on the organization of maintenance, feeding, rearing of young animals.
At the end of the seminar-meeting, the head of the livestock department of the department, Elena Potemkina, set tasks to preserve the breeding stock and increase milk production, as well as the implementation of livestock development indicators brought by the Ministry of Agriculture of RUSSIA.
