Designed for counting microorganism colonies in Petri dishes by placing dots on the bottom of the cup in the locations of colonies. The device registers the fact of touching. The result is displayed on a digital screen.

Counter SKM-2 provides:
 
increasing readings by one when applying a point to the bottom of the cup with an electric pen or when pressing the key upwards under the digital indicator;
zeroing of the readings when pressing the key RESET;
sound signal generation when the point is applied to the cup bottom with the electrodes or when pressing the keys under the numeric indicator and RESET.
adjustable illumination at the bottom of the petri dish;
additional LED illumination on the magnifying glass holder;
flexible holder of magnifying glass position by height and along the working surface.
The SCM meter kit includes a 2x magnifying glass mounted on a flexible holder with LED illumination, an electric pen, and a power cord.
