Lipetsk farmers are actively using the preferential leasing program for agricultural machinery

At the beginning of December of this year, the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation M. Mishustin signed an order on the additional allocation of 500 million rubles from the Government's reserve fund to service preferential leasing agreements for agricultural machinery and equipment. The funds will be sent to Rosagroleasing JSC.
Agrarians of the Lipetsk region are actively cooperating with Rosagroleasing. As of December 1 of this year, through this company they have already purchased 213 units of agricultural machinery worth 1.6 billion rubles. Last year, during the same period, agricultural producers in the region bought 208 units of machinery and equipment for a total amount of 1.4 billion rubles.
This year, automotive equipment was in greatest demand: over 11 months, farmers purchased 101 units . Also, 20 grain harvesters, 19 tractors and 73 units of other equipment, including reapers, were purchased. Agricultural machinery received through JSC Rosagroleasing accounts for more than 40% of all purchased equipment in the region.
Also under consideration by the leasing company are contracts for another 11 units of equipment worth 49.1 million rubles. “Achieving high results is impossible without updating the machine and tractor fleet,” says Alexey Telkov, HEAD of the region’s agricultural department. “Lipetsk farmers are constantly updating their fleet and purchasing new high-performance equipment.”
The preferential leasing program for agricultural equipment was launched in 2019. it has become one of the most popular tools for technical modernization of the agricultural industry. In August 2023,The Government expanded the parameters of the program to include motor vehicles, railway cars, refrigerated containers for transporting agricultural products, trailers and semi-trailers.
