Sheep are kept on winter pastures until the month of May, until the lambing campaign ends. The ewes of this flock were instrumentally inseminated with the seed of Bluetexel rams, this allows to improve the MEAT qualities of the breed, increase the meat yield, reduce the fat tail and add marbling to the meat.
