November 11, MINSK . The State Control Committee has studied the situation regarding the preparation of livestock breeding facilities for the winter housing period of 2023/2024. During the monitoring, 118 livestock breeding facilities were examined in 20 regions of the country, during which a number of shortcomings were revealed. BELTA was informed about this by the State Control Committee.

In particular, on 37 surveyed livestock farms, work on insulation and routine repairs of doors, windows, and roofs was not fully organized. Facts of malfunction of water drinking and manure removal systems were revealed.

Thus, in OJSC "Mikhalevskaya Niva" of the Bobruisk region, during monitoring at the MTC in the village of Khimy, the maternity ward for cows was located in an emergency building, glazing of the windows was required, and the walking areas were littered with manure. At JSC "Berezinsky Rayagroservis" of the Berezinsky district at the Polozhino MTC, all livestock buildings required repairs to the facade, roof, gates, and stalls.

On 37 farms, proper order was not established on the territory and inside the premises, on 39 farms, evidence of contamination of livestock premises was revealed, on 15, the availability and timely change of bedding material was not ensured. For example, during the monitoring it was found that at OJSC "Hero" in the Dubrovensky district, the territory of the Volevo farm was overgrown with weeds and littered with construction waste.

The State Control Committee also established facts of non-compliance with technological regulations for feeding and keeping cattle .

Thus, in the KSUP "Imeni Kutuzov" of the Kalinkovichi district at the MTF "Davydovichi" no studies of feed were carried out for suitability for feeding and there was no complete zootechnical analysis. On this farm, most of the cows had lameness of their limbs; no work was done to trim the hoof horn and trim the hooves. As a result, over 9 months , livestock mortality on this farm increased by 1.6 times, and the average MILK yield per cow decreased.

During the control activities, a number of other problems were also revealed, including facts of improper storage of herbal feed and veterinary preparations, low occupancy of vacant positions of zootechnical and veterinary specialists.

The State Control Committee promptly informed local authorities about the violations identified so that they could take the necessary measures and eliminate deficiencies. Information about the control results was sent to the government .
